We have a custom table with auditing enabled on every field within CRM. However, some of the users are no longer with the company, so their licenses were revoked/sign-in blocked/etc. Now, the audit log is missing all of the data for those users when going to Related –> Audit log on that entity.

This is something I’ve always been interested in. It’s been on our roadmap to integrate our BC On-Prem environment to our D365 CE/Sales environment.

Has anyone here done this and could provide some guidance?

I’m just curious to know what users think about these two products. We currently use Jet, but users accessing these reports on macOS can sometimes have issues. I wondered if Cosmos has improved what Jet offers and if it’s compatible with report creation on MacOS since I see they have a cloud offering.

We’ve had the same thing happen. Once entries are posted to the Production Order, I’m not aware of a way to delete them. The workaround I’ve used is to output the item and then do a negative item journal to remove the output item, and then verify everything looks okay from the G/L side.

Just wondering if there is a way to view “Notes” on the timeline as an activity under the Activities view.

Salespeople like to enter timeline notes, but it’s hard for management to see them unless they navigate to the contact or account. Is there any way to make these appear on the Activities view?

Does anyone have some insights into setting up this connection? We use BC (On-Prem) and CRM (Cloud) and would like to setup this integration. It would be great to hear some insights from anyone who has done this previously and/or is currently using this.

This would have been very helpful as we expanded to warehousing in NAV/BC a few years ago. Instead I had to teach everyone on how directed put-away and pick functioned… let’s just say some people were not happy compared no our non-warehousing locations

Thanks, I tried that, but when using the Report Request Options Page, you have to fill out a “As of Date”. So when doing the recurring job, it will always run on this date. I was hoping there was a way to link the “As of Date” field to the current date/time that the report runs.

Anyone else using FloatRates.com for their USD currency exchange rates?

It appears that after 1/31/24, that FloatRates stopped converting to KWD and QAR.

Has this happened to anyone else? I don’t see it listed on their site anymore for a USD conversion, so I submitted a ticket with them, but was just curious if this has happened before.

I could convert the Excel Sheet into a Form, PW protect the page, and then use PA to push it into CRM.

Are you on-prem or SaaS? I managed to accomplish this using the SQL Connection to Power Automate and monitoring that table.

I just checked the default purchase quote header, and it does show that it’s a “Purchase Quote” instead of a “Purchase Order” (see attached)

You could easily do a custom report layout in the “Report Layout” section of BC, navigate to report ID 10123, and modify it to your liking.

After doing some testing in my sandbox environment, I didn’t realize it defaulted “1/1/1901 12:00:00 AM” for the expiration of every user when I opened the Edit in Excel file.

Lesson learned!

I was doing some clean-up on the Users page within BC utilizing Edit in Excel. When publishing the changes from Excel, it defaulted all of our users to have a 1/1/1900 Expiration Date, meaning everyone was instantly locked out of BC, even though the Excel file didn’t have a value here.
