Lead Support for Dynamics 365 Sales with Microsoft Copilot

Highlights

00:20 — A new feature of Dynamics 356 Sales that was rolled out in December is using Microsoft Copilot for lead support. Currently, the feature is in public preview.

00:51 — Heidi reviews the necessary information required to enact this feature, all of which can be found in the Power Platform Admin Center. Onc the public preview is turned on for your organization, sellers can:

  • View existing leads in the Sales Copilot
  • Create and edit lead records from emails
  • Associate emails and meetings with lead record
  • Disambiguate among multiple lead matches
  • Interact with leads related account and other entities

01:42 — With this new feature, there is an “add lead” button which gives greater visibility into other tables, beyond the few that are currently supported by Sales Copilot.

02:20 — This update “brings us one step closer to parity with the Dynamics 365 app for Outlook,” notes Heidi. The big news here, she adds, is the ability to enable support for leads directly with Sales Copilot.
