Highlights

00:33 — To begin, start a new flow from a solution file, by navigating to + New > Automation > Cloud flow > Instant. Any row you want to use the “When a row is selected” trigger with will need to be Instant. Create a name for the trigger, scroll to “When a row is selected” and press Create.

01:06 — There are a few things to configure in the trigger. In the default environment, select the table. In her example, Heidi configures Contacts. For this use case, she sets the parameters to allow sales reps or users to select one or many contacts, and then have an email sent to those contacts. The next step is to add the Dataverse connector, “Get a row by ID.” The final step is to configure the connector to send an email, which is done through Outlook.

02:46 — Finally, save the changes and test the flow. Heidi walks through the process of generating and sending an email through this flow
