Kerry is a SQL Expert with over 35+ years of experience, and a Microsoft Dynamics GP professional and developer with over 28+ years of experience. He is most prominent within the ISV and Partner forum, affectionately known as 'that SQL Guy’. Kerry and his company Nanook Software apply many unique and out of the box techniques to create innovative and seamless integrations into the Dynamics GP product from virtually any data source. Kerry’s educational background is rooted in IT Software Development and in Business, which allows him to speak both GEEK and FINANCE. When developing solutions, he envisions both the IT and Financial needs of a project, including audit implications of integrating the solution. Kerry loves what he does, whether it was working on a team that developed advanced networking solutions for NASA back in the late 80’s, performing ethical security hacks for lottery corporations in the early 90’s, or developing GP products with Dexterity, SQL or whatever applications or programs that can help get the job done! Kerry willingly shares his vast knowledge, experience, and passion with customers and partners alike by attending and presenting at various professional events over the past 20+ years. This includes Microsoft Convergence, GPUG / Summit, GPUG Tech at Microsoft in Fargo and other SQL and Power Platform events. As a result of his long-time community passion, he has been awarded the GPUG All-Star Award, the Granite Award by the Dynamics Community, and won the GPUG SQL Shoot-Out Award 3 years in a row (current Champion!).
