How to Add a Timeline Control Form to a Model-Driven App

Highlights

00:18 — Starting on the form canvas, navigate to Components > Popular > Timeline. Drag-and-drop Timeline onto the canvas.

00:42 — Heidi reviews the items that can be configured on the Timeline. The first thing users can do is select the “Record types to show.” By default, users will get Activities and Notes if they’re enabled for that table. Under Record settings > Activities, users can configure the activity types that will display in the timeline.

01:23 — In the Advanced menu, users can change the amount of “Record types to show.” The default is 10, but users can enter up to 50 records.
