Academy Preview: FO/AX Master Planning Workshop
This 2-day workshop, “FO/AX: Master Planning Workshop,” led by Nigel Cox, Founder, Microsoft D365SCM Manufacturing Specialist at Delta-Magnum LLC, and Dan Perko, Senior Consultant/Principal at New Dawn Solutions will be hands-on in Dynamics 365 F&O/SCM about half that time. There will be plenty of references to AX and, if you can access your own instance of AX, instructors welcome you to follow the class as much as you can in AX. Instructors will help, but the educators will be using these F&O capabilities:
- The new Demand Planning App
- Materials planning in MPS (Classic MRP, Optimized planning in Azure in-memory, Priority planning, DDMRP – Demand driven MRP)
- Capacity planning in MPS
- Safety stock and safety time management
- Order policies such as Coverage group settings
- Lead time management and the lead time trap
- Order release using the Release to Production workbench
- Real time material availability during Scheduling
- Real time capacity availability during Scheduling
- Dispatching at Resources
- Gantt scheduling
