Academy: Business Central Accounting 101

In this Business Central Accounting 101 class led by Kim Dallefeld, Senior Consultant, Dallefeld Consulting, and Amanda Mayer, Director, LIDD Consultants, you’ll learn the basics to define critical accounting setups, including Chart of Accounts, Dimensions, Accounting Periods, and more. Learn how to make your life easier with several types of journals, researching transactions, and the ever-dreaded reversal of transactions. Along the way, youāll see saved views, review entries and find entries, learn how to find transactions, filter pages and much, much more. They’ll close this session with a few simple sales and purchase documents as well as deposits and payments to set ourselves up for Accounting 201.
Target Audience:Ā This course is ideal for accountants new to or interested in Business Central.
Prerequisites:Ā No prior experience or knowledge of Business Central is required. This course is suitable for beginners as well as individuals looking to refresh their understanding of accounting in Business Central.

- Have a firm understanding of journal-based transactions, researching, reversing, and validating data.
