Highlights

00:48 — Something that should not be overlooked is the role of partners in the implementation, training, onboarding, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Copilot.

“They’re [partners] looking to turn around and help with their combined experience and expertise and help customers do the same, of really getting their arms around AI and Copilot.”

01:57 — In September 2020, Microsoft launched its Microsoft 365 Lighthouse program. In the last several years, the program has evolved to incorporate a larger focus on AI and Copilot.

“There are several benefits in the program, such as presenting AI-driven recommendations to help acquire and retain customers, help with SMB security baseline to meet best practices targeted for small and medium-sized business tenants, simplifying common tasks like resetting passwords, configuring multi-factor authentication, and much more.”

03:20 — Furthermore, AI has shifted the focus of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner program, too. As part of the program, Microsoft has included an AI Partner Playbook, which outlines the core AI approach that Microsoft is taking and how it will equip partners with the necessary tools. Aaron notes that something that struck him in the AI Partner Playbook is the fact that “77% of mature organizations are adopting an AI-first strategy.”

04:43 — If you are an end user of Microsoft Business Applications, Aaron suggests you “get with your Microsoft partner to ensure you have a definitive AI plan in place to really have that AI-first mentality.”

06:07 — On the flip side, if you are a Microsoft Partner, Aaron encourages you to subscribe to Dynamics Communities to learn about “what is top-of-mind for users.”
