Academy Preview: Inventory Theory Workshop
This fun, hands-on workshop, led by Jeffrey Porter on October 12-13, lays a foundation for understanding the science used to develop forecasts, safety stocks, and replenishment suggestions ‘purchase and transfer suggestions’. Participants are taught the theory of inventory management in a series of well-organized modules and following the presentation of theory, participants are grouped into teams where they exercise the theory in simulated supply chain games. The teams compete against each other and are measured on their ability to maximize profit.

- Define the variables that effect a supply chains performance.
