How Dynamics 365 BC/NAV Tracks Order Processing

In this Community Summit North America 2022 moment, excerpted from the Education sessions tailored to the Dynamics 365 BC/NAV User Group, Steven Chinsky, Manager – Operations and Supply Chain at Wipfli, explains how Dynamics 365 BC can be used for order processing and production.

Highlights

00:09 – Chinsky gives a demonstration on how Dynamics 365 BC can be used to track order processing. He displays a packing table that signifies how many orders have been produced. The packing table directs itself to a work center group.

00:23 – In Dynamics 365 BC, users can create Power BI Cosmo Jet reports that suggest how well a facility is doing based on the number of production orders produced.

00:45 – It is possible to keep track of hours worked on the production floor versus ā€œdead timeā€ or offline hours, especially within the shop floor and MES systems that are integrated into the front end of Dynamics 365 BC.
