If the latter you can default GL Accounts using Recurring Purchase Lines, just an FYI.
I wanted to echo Kim’s reply that we are not using the Forum to self-promote personal extensions.
Thanks,

Adding to Dave’s reply… Most user would run Inventory Valuation report to reconcile Inventory to GL, but you should not use that report as it is wrong. You should be running the Inventory to G/L Reconcile report. This will show you the starting Inventory Valuation (dollars) and then your reconciling transactions (Received Not Invoiced, Shipped Not Invoiced, and Manufacturing Output where Production Order is still open). This will also show the G/L Entries posted for each Item and reconcile to the sub-ledger report you just ran.
Try this.

@andrewstiles – The image you show does not look Standard for the Planning Worksheet or Requisition Worksheet. Do you have an APP or Extension to add the 2 questions you show (Include Planning Suggestions and Blanket Orders)?

@tracyhanson – I have used this for Manufacturing in Power BI – https://appsource.microsoft.com/en/product/power-bi/eknowtion.business-central-manufacturing-insights?tab=overview&exp=ubp8
Maybe this will help you. You can load as a Trial to test.

@tracyhanson – Yes, most BC/NAV users create a Jet Report, COSMOS report, or Power BI report to show variances from the Finished Production Orders. The replies I have read denote that if you are running Standard Cost you need to Roll-up (run Standard Cost Worksheet) each manufactured item. This sets the standard and used when you click Statistics on a Production Order. As for the variances, I am attaching a Jet Report on Production Variances. Just link to your environment.
I know there are Power BI ones I can share but I am sticking with Jet since I’m guessing this is the reporting tool you might be using.
Reach out if you have more questions.

@lillieberry – Master Data Management is coming with 2023 Wave 1 release (April). You will not need an APP to maintain Master Data. If you are curious to see what it looks like, attached is a short write-up.

Here is Lanham’s email address for support: support@lanhamassoc.com. They would be the best source for compliance on the EDI front and data related to Amazon as a Trading Partner.
