Dynamics 365 for Sales is designed to get your team selling quicker, better, and more efficiently. With that in mind, I have put together my top six, in no particular order, Power Automate connectors you can implement within the platform to enhance Dynamics 365 for Sales:
This connector gets all your conversations, meetings, and content in one place. If your organization uses Microsoft Teams, this connector will bring about closer levels of collaboration. There are 10 triggers that can kick off a flow that takes action on Dynamics 365 data, in addition to the 62 impressive actions that can be automated within Teams based on updates in Dynamics 365.
Some ways you can leverage the Teams connector to help with Dynamics 365 for Sales are:
This is one of the best connectors in Power Automate. Use the Approvals connector to automate any approvals process your organization has. Do you have a quote approval process implemented today? Transform it from a manual process to an automated one using one of the five actions this connector has. Check out the many templates available using the Approvals connector to quickly get started.
The Office 365 Outlook connector lets you manage your email, calendars, and contacts. There are 25 triggers and 79 actions in this connector. Some of the actions you can automate using these tools include sending an email with or without attachments and getting notifications when a scheduled meeting is about to begin. One of the pillars of a great Dynamics 365 for Sales system is data integrity. Combine your sales hub with the excellent data enrichment and validation tools that come with Data8’s connector and your sales reps get better, more complete data that helps them get the deals closed faster.
The connector has no triggers, meaning you cannot trigger your flow from something happening in Data8. This shouldn't be a problem for sales reps, though, because they'd want to configure a Dataverse trigger for when a row is added, modified, or deleted.
The connector has 12 actions that can be a massive help to your data. Some standouts are: PredictiveAddress, Get Full Address, Clean Address, and several Validate actions. Read more about this connector here.
In this sample flow from Data8’s website, your sales rep would call a flow that would validate all email addresses (though, you’d use the newer Dataverse connector, not the Common Data Service one in the below image):
This connector helps you automate the document signature workflow. Anytime your sales rep needs a contract, agreement, or another document created and signed, this is the connector to use.
The Adobe Acrobat Sign connector has five triggers to kick off a flow and 29 actions. Here are a few ways you could use this connector to help extend Dynamics 365 for Sales:
