Microsoft MVP and Chief Content Officer Aaron Back is on location at Directions NA, taking place in Orlando, Florida, from April 16-19.
In this video, Aaron offers an overview of Day 2 of the event, where he participated in a hands-on workshop to learn about new Business Central features, and learned of the unique opportunities for Microsoft partners.
00:20 — Day 2 of Directions NA kicked off with a general session that featured showcases from various partners and ISVs, which led to the Expo experience, where Aaron had great conversations with many attendees.
00:34 — Additionally, Aaron participated in a hands-on workshop hosted by Microsoft. This workshop provided users with an opportunity to navigate and better understand the latest version of Business Central — specifically, see how the platform integrates with Power Platform, Outlook, and Teams.
01:01 — Aaron interviewed Monique Hayward, Senior Director, Business Applications Ecosystem Marketing, Microsoft. The two discussed co-creation with partners and customers and the unique opportunities for the Microsoft ecosystem.
01:31 — Lastly, Aaron attended a session that was specific for salespeople in the Microsoft channel to understand how to sell against Oracle, NetSuite, and Acumatica.
02:33 — Aaron shares his final thought about Day 2. “There are quite a few new partners, ISVs that are here and that have just entered, I should say, the Microsoft space and Microsoft channel,” he explains. “While this event primarily focused on Business Central, there’ll be a great time for us at Dynamics Communities to really connect and collaborate with many of the partners that represent more than Business Central and really help them scale, really have that partner scale in place.”
