While on-site at Community Summit North America 2023, Dynamics Communities Editor Cam Sessinger interviewed Kim Dallefeld, Community Summit Legend, Microsoft MVP, and CEO/Senior Consultant, Dallefeld Consulting. In this discussion, Kim describes how she entered the Microsoft Business Applications space, and her impressions of Community Summit.

Over time, as she became more experienced with the software, she began attending local meetings and what was then known as Convergence. She never looked back and has been a part of the Community since.

For Business Central specifically, “it’s night and day from where we were.” Being that Business Central is now cloud-based, the automatic updates two times a year have been the biggest “historical trend.” Of course, another impactful trend is the infusion of artificial intelligence and Microsoft Copilots into all products.
