Saxco Case Study: Using Multiple Master Plans

This is a fun, interactive class exploring the use of three different Master plans moving away from the classic dynamic and static plans. This case study is in partnership with Saxco corporation and will examine the usefulness of three different plans to meet the needs of schedulers and buyers. We will dive into the impact of negative and positive days, how to take the “noise” out of MPR, and best practices to save time for schedulers and buyers.  We will dive into the influence of S&OP and when to used delays and actions messages in different plans.  This class will be interactive so as we explore the different Master plans configurations and results, attendees are encouraged to ask questions and provide their insight.  Who should attend: For people who want a deeper understanding of Maser planning / MRP and who want to appreciate the influence of configurations on the S&OP process.

     Review three different Master plan configurations and each intended use 

     Review of planning suggestions based on key configuration differences
