Power Platform Release Wave 1 2025: Previewing AI Builder Activity

UG Expert Kylie Kiser dives deeper with AI Builder activity from the Power Platform Release Wave 1 2025. There is a page for monitoring the usage of AI builder models as well as new feature details about the AI Builder activity page.

Key Highlights

  • Monitoring in Power Automate: Users can access AI Builder within Power Apps and view monitoring activity in the Power Platform Admin Center. Kylie navigates specifically within the monitoring area of Power Automate, which includes data processes, data types, when it was processed, the model being used, who or what initiated it, and any AI credits used for that action. This is already available in Power Automate.
  • Accessing AI Builder activity: Kylie views data via make.powerautomate.com and highlights the AI Builder activity monitoring. She sets which dates to preview the activity. Users can filter by different AI models within their environment and other factors to view data being processed.
  • AI Builder credits: Now, some of the Dynamics 365 licenses include some AI Builder credits. If you go over those AI Builder credits, you need to buy that capacity add-on. Check your local pricing for these credits, what they’re built on, and what packages they come in. It’s also not just one credit per element you’re running; some cost more than others. When building new models, users should check how many credits they’re using to plan for those costs.
