Highlights
00:34 — Starting from the Power Platform Admin Center, select an Environment and go to the Backup and Restore page. Kylie shows the backups that are currently running, while the system is searching for available backups. Backups are automatically running in the system by Microsoft.
01:38 — She selects a backup from a previous time, and selects an environment to overwrite — this can be done for the currently selected environment or another one. Additionally, you can copy production down to a lower environment, which will copy all configurations and data. Be cautious with this route if using managed solutions. Once overwritten, the environment will be in Administration Mode.
03:39 — Lastly, Kylie demonstrates how to do a manual backup. Once you create a name, select Create, which will create a point-in-time backup for the environment. If users are creating a “big deployment,” Kylie notes that a manual backup may be good to create, as it will allow users to test the deployment before it goes out.
