2 New Updates Coming to Power Automate

Highlights

00:20 — While there are more than two updates coming to Power Automate, Heidi shares two that she’s very excited about:

  • Connect to other environments from the Microsoft Dataverse connector
  • Intelligent license recommendations for Admins

00:39 — There are two Dataverse connectors, currently – the main Dataverse connector and the legacy Dataverse connector. While the main Dataverse connector is used for most things, the legacy Dataverse connector is used for the ability to connect to different environments. In April, users will be able to use the main Dataverse connector for this specific function.

01:35 — Intelligent license recommendations for Admins is in Public Preview. General Availability is still unknown, so turn on the feature in Public Preview and let Microsoft know that you like the feature! There are two core functions of this feature:

  • Receive intelligent license reccomendations with a list of users based on
    • License requested by users
    • Trial users
    • Seeded users without premium license
    • Active users without premium license
  • Automatically assign licenses to the selected users directly or through a security group
