Dynamics GP – Power BI Financial Reports – Summary Income Statement

Discuss using Power BI as a reporting tool (7-10 minutes) 

Advantages 

•     Can combine companies, accounts, departments, period ranges (YTD,QTD, even specific date periods) 

•     Can go beyond the column and rows to include other metrics (bar chart, pie chart,etc.) 

•     Faster than most other reports 

•     Interactive Disadvantage 

•     Some level of SQL knowledge/GP table knowledge
