Automating Business Process between Dynamics 365 F&O and Non-dynamics Platform using the power of Business Events
Microsoft defines user actions as those involving workflow and non-workflow actions. Business events occur when a business process is run. During a business process, users who participate in it perform business actions to complete the tasks that make up the business process. The D365 F&O Business events provide a mechanism that allows external or third-party recipients receive notifications from the D365F&SCM as and when a business action is performed. This can be considered, for example, the Sales Order Creation scenario where non-workflow actions can be used, and for Purchase Requisition approval process, where workflow actions are used. Business events provide a perfect integration or notification situation when an event occurs in D365F&SCM, that requires for this information to be sent to an external system.
