This is a rare case, but the only possibility I can think of right now is this, since you are able to post some transactions, you need to identify which ones work and which ones don’t. There may be a pattern, and it’s possible that for certain scenarios, the system is not allowing you to transact for some reason. It could be transaction-specific, with a certain security blocking the process.

If you have enabled the system to record Posted General Journal then you can create the same journal back with the option in there.

As per standard You can dedicate the G/L accounts as which Project Codes they are entitled to. You can navigate to COA and choose Dimensions and the use ValuesAllowed to activate your rulebooks.

You can search directly Bank Statements as well. The best part is if you find anything not falling in place then you can undo right away from there in.

In Business Central we have something called Financial Reporting , With the help of this we create all those Balance Sheets, P&L and Income Statement Reports. This is very powerful and very dynamics as well. You need to understand the structure and then you can create it by yourself. You can have a look on the sample Cronus company.

This isn’t available in the standard functionality, so I used to do the same workaround. But now, I stay within Business Central and use the Analysis View — a great addition by Microsoft.

You can delete the historical data but the only check mark I will say is to make sure we don’t have the corresponding open sales order not invoiced yet.
