We are on AX2012 R3 CU13.  We use Mfg Execution is a few of our divisions.  When a worker terminates we go through the process to uncheck the “Active” box in the Time registration tab of the worker record and then Terminate the worker.  After that is complete we run the Deactivate past workers task in Human Resources>Periodic.  This removes the worker from the Calculate and Approve forms but does not remove the worker from the Raw registrations form.  Any thoughts on how to clean up the Raw registrations form?

      Hi Mark –

Have you looked into the Registration Cleanup? It is not per Worker but you can Archive (file or table) and there are some performance benefits.

Like any Cleanup you find in Dynamics AX or D365FO always a good idea to run in TEST in order to…

      1. Fully understand how the Cleanup works and what it is doing. DBA could give you an idea of the data Deletes with a Trace.
      2. How long the Cleanup will take.

I would be tempted to leave the Raw Registrations records alone for a week or two to ensure that Approval and Transfer for that Worker take place without error. I would also make it SOP on Workers that leave to check for Missing Clock-Outs (Raw Registration form to find, Approve form to correct using the Missing Clock-Out/-In functionality in the menu. Do not simply add the missing Clock-Out / -In to the lower grid in the Approve form because there will not be a data write back to Raw Registrations, table JMGTermReg).

      Thanks…..Dave
