Hello,

Does anyone know how to do a product receipt from a load and have the ability to update line and do a registration?  I am creating a load from the LPW to receive product from a load, but want to be able to change the registered quantity in the case of a mis-count by the receiver so need to update the line.  I want to do it from the load screen as I also want the Decrement Load Line to help with partial receipting to be able to receive the remainder of the order on a new load.

Hi Jeff,
When posting the Product receipt from the Load screen, the Quantity defaults to “Deliver now” which the Registered quantity from when you do the Purchase order receiving through the WHS Mobile app. If you cancel the Putaway work created from the registration, it unregisters the line so you can re-register what was actually received before going to Post product receipt. I do not believe there is ability to change quantity from the Load Product receipt form. You could try to potentially post as is then use the Correct Packing slip option? I can’t remember if that is 100% supported. Otherwise, you would have to go to the PO line, fix/edit the registration from that form then post the packing slip from the Purchase order.

We were hoping to be able to do the update line on the product receipt in the all loads screen somehow by unlocking it (it is there but grayed out).  We are trying to work through your Correct Packing Slip option, but don’t see where to find this.  Is there a configuration we need to unlock first?

Hi Jeff,
On second checking, the Correct packing slip option may not be fully available with Advanced warehousing. You can only see that option from the Product receipt journal screen either directly from the PO or the journal form, you don’t see this option on the Load, only the Cancel Product receipt option:

When using the correct or cancel options, the inventory would have to be in the location/license plate that it was registered against so may involve some location/LP transfers if Putaway work has already been completed. These two blogs are pretty good reviews of this process:
