Hi 

Anyone have experience this issue while uploaded bulk of fixed assets under various FA group or one FA group  through ATLAS

Disposal sale FA posting profile

Value model	Grouping	Main AC	Offset AC
SL	Equipment	FA-Eqpt-Ac	Asset disposal

Disposal sale parameter

Value model	Valid for	Post value	Main AC	Offset AC
SL	All	Depreciation (prior years)	Accu Dep ac	FA acq ac
		Depreciation (Current year)	Accu Dep ac	FA acq ac
		Net book value	FA acq ac	FA acq ac

It validates OK but while posting came across with “Disposal parameters/Post value Net book value does not exist”. Not sure where else I can look for Disposal parameters

NOTE: using AX2012 CU8 (its due to old version thats why)

Hello Nazim,

The Fixed asset posting profiles have specific sections to set up your Disposal – Sale and Disposal – Scrap.

But you must set up the Disposal parameters, you can reach them in the action bar.  In this form you are removing all the transactions for the specific asset and posting it to your gain/loss for the sale or scrap of a fixed asset.

I hope this helps explain the error messages.

Where did you get this error message?
When trying to sell the fixed assets through a free text invoice?
The accounting setup you show below is common for scrapping fixed assets.
For fixed assets sales, companies typically also include the acquisition posting value.

Irrespective of that, have you tried manually updating the posting values and accounts that are used? Probably something went wrong with the upload and requires a refresh?
