We are setting up Work templates for creating Work for shipments.  When we Release the order to the warehouse, is there a way to not create the Work if there is not enough inventory for the order?  Currently it is telling us that “Shipment xxxx was not fully allocated” which means it only created the shipment for the existing inventory.  We would prefer that the Shipment and Work not be created and receive a message the it was cancelled.

      A few options to check.
1)On the warehouse, under reservations – do you have ‘require full reservation’ selected?
2)If you are using the manual release to WH, you can select a fulfillment policy, after you have added orders to the bottom section of the screen.
3)Additional options: On your customer master > warehouse fast tab you can set a fulfillment policy and/or check fill entire shipment flag, if you’d like more granular control by customer.
