Lanham EDi 860 map POC02=RZ
Posted by Lewis Rosenberg on July 28, 2020 at 2:28 pm-
Hello Everyone,
I’m looking for assitance with a Lanham EDI860 map.
In the POC-02 I have mapped DI and AI (Delete Item and Add Item Values) and it works,
I have a new situation where RZ (Replace All Values) is being received in the POC-02 and the POC-04 is NOT being used/mapped.Ā How do I map it so RZ will trigger a replace all values?

Hi Lewis,ĀIn order to account for the “RZ” EDI Code – Replace All Values – you will need to map a Conditional to send the value to the sales line “EDI Code” field for the POC 02. Then map conditionals on the POC 04, POC 05, and POC 11 using the same setup (Cond. Segment = POC, Cond. Element = 02, Cond. Value = RZ). See the attached screenshots for example mapping. I tested this set up in version SE0.61 but if it’s not working for you, please send the Lanham EDI version (Go to E.D.I. Setup page >> About EDIā¦.it’s the SE0.xx.xx #) you’re on and I will help troubleshoot further.ĀThank you,

Thanks for the reply .
I’m on version 60.03 and it doesn’t seem to be working.
The only difference I saw was that I had “AI” and “DI” along with “RZ” set up in the conditionals for POC-02, but I tried it both ways.
They are also sending the Qty in on POC-03 and not using POC-04, but I used the conditionals you had on PC-04 on element 03 instead.

Hi Lewis,
In general when mapping an 860 where the line is “RZ” to replace all values, for each element that contains a value that you want written to the sales line to replace the value, a Conditional would need to be created stating ‘if POC-02 = RZ, then xxx.”Ā For example, in order to replace the Qty in the POC-03, an additional conditional would be created stating ‘if POC-02 = RZ, then map to the Navision Sales Line “Quantity.”Ā Ā With your current 860 mapping for the “RZ” what are you NOT getting replaced/updated (which elements) and how are they currently mapped?

HI ,
My Delete Item works, but the replace RZ is not working.
Here’s the POC segment map:

Hi Lewis,
Can you confirm in your 860 file that the RZ quantity is in the POC-03? If this is the case, I believe the issue is your current POC-03 conditional for RZ maps the value to the EDI Code instead of to the Sales Line >> Quantity field.Ā In 860s, sometimes its the POC-03 and sometimes a calculation is performed in the POC-04, so please confirm first!

I finally worked this out.
The Trading Partner is sending the CHANGE CODE in the POC-02 and the QUANITY in the POC-03.Ā They are not using the POC-04.
All of the conditionals belong in the POC-03 and no conditionals are used in the POC-02.
For Add Item (AI) and Delete Item (DI), the POC-03 is mapped to Sales Line, EDI_Code.
For Change (RZ) it is mapped to Sales Line, Quantity.POC:
