Stories are everywhere about hackers and problems companies are experiencing around cybersecurity. What many do not know is the hackers in many cases aren’t as smart as you might think. In this session we will review why individuals are at the heart of a good information security (InfoSec) program and how you and your fellow employees can provide the best line of defense to protect your company or your own personal interests from the evolving world of cybercrime.
We will review how to develop the framework of a solid InfoSec program in this session as well, which you can take back to your company and build on. Among the topics we will cover are the need to for company wide buy-in to a strong InfoSec program, the importance of security awareness training, and of course how rapidly changing technology only heightens the risks.
