I think there are a lot of users like yourself, who are going to be using SL until the cows come home, so to speak, because it works for their needs, like you said! There are also lots of clients that have many customizations and custom apps they had developed thru the years and they have no need to jump either and don’t plan to in the near future. As long as their are still technical people around who will support SL, I don’t really think there is a need to upgrade, just because Microsoft won’t be supporting it anymore…

There are also companies moving to Dynamics Business Central (BC), which is the old Dynamics NV product, and some companies are moving to Dynamics Finance & Operations (FO), which is the old Dynamics AX product. Then there are companies moving to Acumatica, which started as an old version of Solomon that was rewritten for the web! So, it’s like everyone is scattering but there’s also a ton staying and getting as much out of their investment as possible before they have to move to something else!

Sarah, there are still plenty of companies out there using SL! There are companies that have thousands and thousands of dollars in custom developed solutions and they are going to use SL until the cows come home, so to speak…long after SL is gone! There are companies out there still developing new stuff to work with DSL! DSL is still going to be around for a long, long time to come!

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the SL client. It could be possible that some access rights have changed, and the user logged in doesn’t have proper access. I could assist in troubleshooting via a Teams session, if it would help!
