The error is stating that you do not have READ access to table 6217 – Sustainability Setup.

I am not familiar with this table and it does not exist on my BC14 system, so it is either relatively new, or from an add-on or enhancement.

In either case, the fix is to add a READ permission for that table to a permission set assigned to anyone who will be processing purchase orders.

One other solution is to use the Physical Inventory Journal and Print. If you go to the Physical Inventory and Calculate Inventory, the report has options to Show Qty. (Calculated) and Show Serial/Lot Number.

We use Lanham EDI and have been using it since 2006. It is fully integrated into BC. Lanham allows you to manage and maintain your trading partners and EDI maps, or I believe you can hire Lanham Services to manage it for you.

Other BC/NAV EDI ISVs include SPS Commerce and True Commerce.

To set up Unit of Measure Translations, go to Unit of Measure and select a row, then select NAVIGATE in the ribbon, then select TRANSLATIONS

Check the zip code table (You can use the drop-down lookup from the CITY or ZIP code field on the vendor card). There is probably an entry there for Vancouver, BC, Canada. You can either delete that OR add an entry for Vancouver, WA. If you add Vancouver, WA, then when entering Vancouver into the CITY field on the Vendor Card, BC will pop-up a list of all Vancouver entries so that you can choose the correct one.

Do your BOMs call for the raw material by a weight UOM or a length UOM? I am guessing you cannot convert between weight and length (ex: x feet = y pounds) because of the difference in how the coil is provided from each vendor.

Actually the culprit turned out to be an old modification! It was looking to approval archives for something and creating and infinite loop!
