Tariffs – Refresh Open Sales Order Prices

    Hi Everyone,

We recently updated our Item Sales Price Lists with new tariffs effective April 1st.

We need to update the item prices on over 100 lines of open sales orders to reflect the new pricing.

What is the best way to accomplish this without manually updating each order?

    Thank you

I’ve never tried on a sales order, but you may be able to use a (RapidStart) Configuration package to export sales lines to Excel, update there and then import back into BC.

I would try this in a sandbox environment first.

As a developer, I would recommend creating a Codeunit to iterate through all the sales order lines, retrieve the correct sales price for each, and update accordingly. This function could be reused for any future mass price updates affecting current sales orders in the future. Lewis has the non-developer idea, once in excel you could use a vlookup for the new price then update all of the sales line at once.
