I have been involved in the MS industry for quite some time. I always advise my clients to interview potential partners before making a decision. Firstly, select a partner with proven experience in your industry. Secondly, ensure that the partner recommends independent software vendor (ISV) solutions rather than customizations. There are many reputable ISVs that develop products designed to address gaps within Business Central, which can help reduce the need for extensive customizations. Lastly, choose a partner who listens carefully to your needs and priorities.
Best regards, Jennifer

MemberNovember 4, 2025 at 1:12 pm in reply to: Allocation Accounts – distribution vs breakdown::Hi Valerie, I am with Dynamic Budgets. We are an ISV that helps NFP with their complex budgeting needs that BC does not handle well. Have you spoken with your partner regarding your current situation? They should be able to assist you. If you need additional help, I would love to take this offline to assist you.

Take the time to explore options, ask insightful questions, and conduct thorough research. Avoid selecting a provider solely based on cost.
