      I am a beginner with PBI Desktop I just used the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR function, but no result on my report. below the screenshot.

      You will want to make sure that you have a Dates table (and mark it as such) and that this table actually contains all the dates you plan to cover with the functions you use (like SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR)
