?Is your column formatted as text?Ā  You might need to edit your query so the column is a date-type.

Hi, Set the Sort By Column of MM_YY to date

Use the “Sort by another column”Ā  feature with your Month Number column in your Dates table.

      Mohamed,

I agree with everyone’s comments about using Sort by Column.Ā  The key to this feature is you need another column that matches up 1 to 1 with the column it is sorting.Ā  So looking at your data, make sure you use Sort by Column on the MM_YY column and sort it by the monthofyear column.

?Yes – I found this nice explanation from radacad yesterday.Ā  This doesn’t show a date table, but it is the same principle as Dan and Lutz are discussing.Ā  The key is the lookup table (in this case your Date table) to address the cardinality issue.

      Best wishes.
