Hello all,

So I am wondering how the PowerApps Community platform and PowerApps User Group platform will coexist.

A recent blog post mentions about the latter:
Gain the education and support you need to build custom business apps that connect to your data and work across web and mobile by joining the PowerApps User Group. Connect, share, and learn with your peers, year-round, and learn how you can become a leader in your own community.

Well, that almost sounds like the PowerApps community to me 😛 The PowerApps community has already a lot of (searchable) content and several active community members have build a reputation there which is for me input how I view the given information.

Having two platforms where I will find the same content or have to keep up with just sounds not good to me. I saw already that someone asked a question in the PowerApps User Group and that knowledge was shared.

What I would like to see is that management from both platforms talk with each other and decide how to best position which platform for what.

I wonder how others look at this.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for posing the thoughts/question regarding the coexistence of the PowerApps Community platform and PowerApps User Group. The main difference is that our site’s goal (PowerApps User Group) is to connect PowerApps users with other users in their area/region and allow them a platform to have local user group meetings and step into the role of user group leaders.
