Is there a way to see the DAX formula in power BI when using live connection? I can see the measures under my tables.. I just can’t see the formulas.

Short answer: no.
If you can ask the SSAS data model file (model.bim), then you can open it with Tabular Editor (https://www.sqlbi.com/tools/tabular-editor/), there you will see all of the metadata (measures including the dax formula, calculated columns, tables, etc), without seeing any data.
