      Hello:

I have a basic question. I’m having a difficult time getting the last date for each of my Fact Tables, which have a relationship with a date table, marked as a date table.

My file attachment is large and there are multiple entries on each day. Since the data is import from a SQL server I am wondering if I have to know something else on handling this date issue. I have tried all the versions of LASTDATE MAX Date, etc and nothing works for me. I had surgery two days ago so maybe it’s just me, but I really would like to know how to get the last date.

I could use help figuring out how to get the last date (6-19-2020) to work for:
      Transactions
      GL Entries
      Booking
      Open Orders

Usually Document Date or Posting date is what I use for LASTDATE.

I sincerely appreciate any assistance on this question.

      Thank you,

      Bill S.

      Nothing wrong with your measures.

      Two small issues

      1. You didn’t put the measure into a card visual
      2. (slightly unrelated) You correctly included and specified a Dates table but you didn’t disable the auto date/time hierarchy in the current file data load settings.

      Hi Lutz:

Thank you for taking the time to look into that. What you said makes perfect sense. Your help is appreciated.

      Best regards,

      Bill S.
