For this below error PBI community suggested to check date column in that PENDING PO & INVOICE.PENDING PO & INVOICE is a written view in our Data Base. i checked manually(Sorted in that column in ascending & descending order) in DB, there no wrong date like they mentioned before(1/1/1900).

Can you please advice me for this what i am missing. Thanks in advance!

Since you have access to the database, I would also run a TRY_CAST on that date column and see if any of the tries return as a null.
Sometimes, it is a value like : 5/0/2018 or 2/30/2019 or 1/31/0019.

Are you storing your dates in the format you mentioned above, DD/MM/YYYY ? if so I’d look to change them to ISO format (yyyymmdd or yyyy-mm-dd).
In my experience, problems at the IDataReader are not issues at the data source, but issues where our Power BI Report server is struggling with something. So you are looking to clean the data to suit their needs.

Thanks . Absolutely, i am facing problem in development environment. inside date columns null values are also available in my tables. i am not able to see exactly the problematic row’s. i added some where condition’s and tried with few rows of data it’s refreshing.??

Hello Ramar,

The error you are seeing is related to date format. probably you data may have null values as other people said. would like to suggest please check the date format is same as all rows ,some time power bi edit query doesn’t support the wrong format like 1/1/1  or 1/1/1117 or 0/0/0/1 etc… can you please check with your DB whether you have these kind of formats or not.if you have null values you can mark as them blank and see .
