So this should be a straight forward thing but I can’t seem to figure out what I am doing wrong… Trying to create a filtered table that is filtered by the selected value from another table.

Table = VAR

Department_Value =[Measure2]

return

DISTINCT(CALCULATETABLE(Dashboard,Dashboard[Department]=Department_Value))

The screenshot below shows a blank table with column PBIKey that is what the formula above is creating. If I set Department_Value=”Sales” in the DAX the code works perfectly. But I can’t seem to get it to recognize the measure 2 which is

Measure2 = SELECTEDVALUE(Department[Department])

where Deparment[departmnet] is the tablix selected in the screenshot.
