      Hello,

I have a gallery that shows all the Orders and inside that gallery I have another gallery that shows all of the Payments for an Order.  How do I filter the second gallery, Payments, so only the payments show for each individual Order where the Payments.OrderID = Orders.OrdersID?

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Kind regards,

      Hello John,

Is the Payments gallery nested in the Order gallery?
If so you can do the following:
      Filter(Payments, ThisItem.OrderID = OrderID)

If not you can use this:
      Filter(Payments,OrderGallery.Selected.OrderID = OrderID)

      Hello Kenneth,

Thanks for the input.  I had entered the first filter option, because it is the Payments gallery nested in the Order gallery, so I cleared it out typed it back in and the error is gone.  I tried everything yesterday and I just kept getting error after error, that is why I reached out to this group, I thought I was doing something wrong.  This morning no errors and it is giving me the results I am expecting.

      Thanks for the help.
      John

      Hi John,
Have a look at the way Shane uses Set(varRecord,ThisItem) about 4:10 in here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5Pi5P2YKds&t=499s
The main thrust of the video is irrelevant to what you are doing but this little hint Shane throws in for free might help you

      Hello Guy,

Thanks for the information.  Shane does have some good videos and I am going to keep this one in my arsenal.  The solution that Kenneth gave above is working this morning.  It was giving errors yesterday so I was trying so many different combinations.

      Thanks for the information.
      John
