    I found multiple related topics but cannot seem to get anything similar to my situation. My report …
    1. Default Slicer values

    I found multiple related topics but cannot seem to get anything similar to my situation.

    My report always has a total of (7) possible values. I want the default values selected when the report starts up to always show the (5) as shown in the image insert below.

    Selection Slicer

    Publish your report like this and this selection will be the default for your users.

    Issue if u change the selections or reset it and open the file next time it will not open with slicer default selections

    Microsoft has enabled the ability for end users to save their own slicers and filters, or reset to the published values. However they do include the option to disable this ability when you publish the report. Here’s an article on managing Persistent Filters.

    You have ‘magic” button on top right corner – “Reset to Default”.
