Could somebody explain to me, with simple words, the concept of “Data Lineage” in DAX ?

Hi Gérard.

AFAIK one can describe data lineage as the history (timliness, filters, transformations, or path characteristics, etc.) of data as it moves from source to destination.

Here’s Microsoft’s take on Power Bi and data lineage.

For me, this would apply more to Power Query, whereas DAX would be more focussed on transformations.
