Does anyone have experience using CData as a connector for Netsuite and Power BI or do you know of anyone doing this? If so, what has the experience been like? Or, does anyone have any recommendations for a connector to be used for Netsuite and Power BI?

For ODBC connection [CData] is good choice, also you can look into [Stitch] as it gives more flexibility but it might be costly.

It’s important to point out that CData offers custom Power BI Connectors, not just ODBC. With Power BI connectors you get DirectQuery access to your NetSuite data in addition to the Import option, opening options for more real-time connectivity (or scheduled refreshes every 15 minutes, as opposed to every hour).

I posed this question as I have been having issues with connecting Netsuite and Power BI with CData, and I wasn’t sure if anyone is successfully using the connector. I figure the problem is me, I’m not sure where I am going wrong, but I wanted to see if anyone in the community is successfully leveraging this connector. It looks like your with CData. Interestingly I used the Netsuite CDATA connector for a POC I was on and found it worked very well, easy to use, connect and reasonably priced.  I also found that you can get your Netsuite Administrator to send you the Netsuite ODBC connector that is downloadable from Netsuite – not sure of the cost – so that maybe an option as well.  But apparently you have to be a Netsuite Admin to see the options.?
The attachment is what I see in PBI Desktop with the Netuite ODBC connector.
