Hi, I’m looking to see if it’s possible to auto select the most recent value of a sequential number for a filter.  The number is comprised of a two digit year followed by a week number. So the values will be like:  2201, 2202, 2203, etc.

If the most recent value is 2203 then I want that to automatically be selected in the filter for year/week.  The values go up throughout the year as the weeks progress and I still want to always select the most recent (largest) value for the filter while showing all values in the filter so any value could be selected later on. Thanks, -Mark

      Mark,

I think you could use something like is discussed here from Gorilla BI – Set Default Slicer Selection to Current Year or Month in Power BI – YouTube.Ā  You’ll need to modify it a little bit to combine the current year and current week values.

      Thanks,
      Barry
