Hello! I’m working on a visual to show trends in vehicle and pedestrian traffic. I want to be able to label dates of interest (stay at home order, school closure etc.) on the timeline. I think I have a way to do this in the tooltip, but I want the annotations to be visible without hovering over them. I’m considering a custom R visual, but still new with R. Any ideas? Thanks!

I don’t think there is a way to do this out of the box with Power BI. As Lutz mentioned below, I believe you will have to try some of the custom visuals in the store.

Chris

Thank you for the responses! The Timeline Storyteller looks neat, but I think I found more what I’m looking for with the Pulse Chart. Thanks!

Great. I’ll give that a try too. Always wanted to have an excuse to do a TimeSeries test report.
