    Fabric Data Factory June 2023 updates and top picks!

    Hello community!

    Exciting to see the first monthly update of improvements around Fabric Data Factory at Microsoft. Among the many updates released for Dataflow Gen2 and Data pipelines (ADF), here are my favorites:

    Dataflows Gen2

    Manage connections (preview): button of ‘Manage Connections’ at the ribbon. For now it’s only possible to hault any connection at the dataflow, but Microsoft states that new capabilities will be added, like adding new connections or editing existing ones.

    Data Pipelines

    Web activity: it is possible to call custom REST API endpoint and integrate it into the data pipeline and easily store it anywhere!

    Capacity integration: this one is great for admins, ad it allows to view pipeline usage, helping to manage workspace capacity monitoring. Ultimately, I can guess that it will facilitate the administration of computation resources as well.
