Have you used the Payroll Tax Update window before – that is a window that allows you to do the payroll tax tables update automatically from Microsoft.  If you are current with your Microsoft enhancements and on a current support version, the program will update the tax tables and update the tax update date on the window already mentioned in the payoll tax setup window.

This is the path to the Payroll Tax Update window, but you want to plan to only run the update when you have completed your 2017 payrolls before updating the tax tables as they will update your system to 2018 rates.
