We are set up to email statements.Ā  When we had GP 2010 I know we would use the send e-mail statements box on the customer maintenance options window.
When we upgraded we now set it up through Customer E-mail options.Ā  We enter the email address in the Internet Information screen.
My question is that when I am changing an email address in teh internet information, the address does not change in the customer maintenance options window.Ā  That option is greyed out.Ā  I just want to make sure that greyed out box is not being used.Ā  I have attached an example.

The old email address that was set up in GP 2010 was chris@xxxx and you can see that in the customer maintenance options window.
I then changed it the other day in the Internet Information box to Stephanie@xxxx, but if you go look back at the other window, it still says Chris.

      Hi Katie,

I think since you have customer statements turned on in the customer email options, that OVERRIDES the statement setting in the statement options.Ā Ā  It uses Word template statements rather then the built in text “report writer” one that GP normally uses.

I am not sure why it won’t let you edit that address in statements, but this is the table it’s in:
      RM00106 – Statement Email Addresses

I believe if you turn off the statements in the email options window it will then allow you to go back to the statement email address and change it.Ā Ā  However, I tried this on a machine that does not have Outlook installed, and another potential issue is that if GP does not identify your email client properly, the email options in statements are greyed out, so that may be your other issue.
