Has anyone had success using SmartList Builder “Go-Tos” to check boxes on a form?

Ex.) (want to check the ‘History’ checkbox)

We’ve been using Macros but I’m guessing there HAS to be a better way.

Any input is appreciated!

Hi ,

I’ve not had much success using the GO To Builder where you add tasks, etc. However, I’ve had a fair amount of success in using GP Power Tools to create triggers that automatically check the boxes when the window is open.

For your purpose, do you ALWAYS want the box checked or only if it’s opened through SmartList?

SmartList Builder has some built in forms that can sometimes accomplish what you’re wanting, but if I’m doing a custom Go To, I’ve had more luck with Power Tools.

There isn’t another way besides a Macro to do this in SmartList Builder.  I have put in a feature request to add this, but it is not there today.  

I see that you were given the option of using the GP Power Tools to do it.  With Extender Enterprise, you could also create an action on the window to mark or unmark the checkbox as the window opens.
