?I am attempting to automate some reports to run every morning.Ā  I read the manual and it looked like first step was going to be getting a PDF program as an option to print to.Ā  I am not sure how to get it there.Ā  Has anyone looked at this or done it successfully?Ā  Our managers don’t have access to GP only the Viewer so they are waiting on someone to generate the reports most of the time, mainly me.Ā  Automation would help tremendously.

      Hey Kathie,
Are these GP or MR reports?
      Thanks
      Windi

      Hi,Ā
If it doesn’t have to be pdf format and you are using standard reports, you could create a macro or macros for the Ā reports and have them overwrite the existing files. Ā You could save the files as txt or html. Ā

We have several clients that we have set up reporting like this including maintenance process like checklinks and reconcile macros that run daily.

Save them to a shared folder on the system running the macros if it is a server running the jobs, otherwise you need to leave a user logged on with rights on the repository location.

Once you have created the macros, create a batch file or batch files depending on your needs and then schedule them with TaskScheduler.
