I need a report that summarizes client sales year to date with the ability to drill down into detail.  Is there something out there already, maybe in SSRS ???

Any help would be appreciated.

Shelagh,
Have a look into the Sales folder in SSRS.. there are already some 15+ reports to use from.  If none is satisfactory, you can always grab a SQL view from Victoria Yudin’s site and build a report from scratch.
Drill-down reports are a little more difficult to create, but it is possible.

I love Victoria Yudin’s site…learned a lot from her!!   I already looked at the Customer Yearly Totals and a couple of other reports.  Our data is not in the SOP tables so I need receivables reports.  Finance wants to look at yearly for all clients with the option to drill into a single client and/or filter by invoice dates too.   Not sure that is possible.  

Enjoyed your upgrade class at Summit… wish you had been there!  Thanks for all you do!

Thanks for the Summit, it was a little odd as I had zero feedback from the room and couldn’t even see the participants. ??
As for the Sales report, you may want to look into Power BI for drill-downs into details. 
certainly does have a few videos or blog post about that topic.
